Achievements in the EACOP Pig Trap Project

 Achieved commitments to EACOP for the Pig Trap project including the Internship Program, Train the Trainer and Industrial Enhancement.

The Ugandan intern completed his internship training in China at Shenyang Xinlian Petrochemical Equipment Co. Ltd. on December 18, 2023, and was awarded a certificate of training in recognition of his accomplishment. Throughout the training, he covered various topics including introduction to basic pipeline operations, pipeline pigging, and inline inspection, identification of basic pipeline safety critical equipment, basics of pig launcher/receiver designs, introduction to pig launcher/receiver fabrication, as well as assembling and debugging of pig signalers, trolleys, and trays.
